This golf tournament has been an annual tradition for over half a century and is open to all members of the investment community in the greater SF Bay Area. Participants across all skill levels are welcome and the winner will be determined based on handicap. The tournament also helps to support the broader community activities of the SF Bond Club.

The San Francisco Bond Club’s iconic March Madness kick off celebration returns to the Olympic Club on Thursday March 19th. Please join us beginning at 2:00 pm at the Olympic Club Bar located at 524 Post Street, San Francsico.   Festivities will go until the last buzzer of the day.

RSVPs are required due to the restricted access at the Olympic Club so please RSVP at the link below.

This year the SFBC will be taking our talents to North Beach for an afternoon of cocktails, lunch, and merriment at The San Francisco Italian Athletic Club.  Please join us to celebrate the SFBC’s  96th Anniversary from a club so exclusive, you have to take a blood test to get in!  We’ll enjoy great Italian fare, beautiful views of Washington Square Park, and the fellowship of our fellow members. The bar will open around 12:00 with lunch served shortly after. As is the tradition, I am confident the festivities will continue well into the evening.

This event is free for members, but we do need an exact headcount for this event.

It is that time of the year to start thinking about our annual tradition of enjoying an afternoon Giants game in the comfort of the Franklin luxury box. This year it will be on June 20th at 7:00 PM where the Giants will take on the Red Sox.

Space is limited so it will be first come first serve. As usual, only members who are current with dues and in good standing can reserve a spot. If you have not paid yet and need to, please use the Venmo or PayPal links below. We switched off the Stripe powered website payments due to an increase in their fees.

Please join us on Saturday, June 18th, from 10 AM to Noon for the SFBC’s Inaugural Pickleball Tournament at Bay Club Gateway at 370 Drumm Street in the San Francisco Financial District. For those who haven’t played, we shared some instructional videos via the email announcement and longtime SFBC member Jim “Jimbo” Oakes will be there to help with any questions. After hearing about Pickleball from many friends and relatives, this will be my first time playing. If you’d like to join us, we’ll pair off in teams to play a tournament on two courts as SFBC members arrive. Thanks to Jimbo for planning this event. Please RSVP, so we can have an accurate count for the Pickleball teams.

After the golf, some of our SFBC members will be driving five minutes away to the second leg of the event at Graton Resort and Casino to enjoy some food, drinks, cards, & dice.

Please join us on Thursday, October 14th, for bocce & wine at the San Francisco Wine Society at 408 Merchant Street in the San Francisco Financial District. For those who haven’t played, Bocce is played with eight large balls and one smaller target or object ball called a pallina. There are four balls per team and they are made of a different color or pattern to distinguish the balls of one team from those of the other team. If you’d like to play, we’ll pair off in teams to play a tournament as SFBC members arrive. If you’d just like to join us for wine, please feel free to do so. Thursday August 26 Happy Hour at the Ramp (855 Terry A Francois Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94158) hosted by former SFBC President Joseph Elefante, CAIA and Brown Advisory.

Get the feel of the authentic San Francisco waterfront. Originally a bait shop in the 50's, The Ramp, a well-kept locals secret, has developed into a popular destination for dining, drinking and dancing. A funky, fun, casual atmosphere prevails at our outdoor patio restaurant. Sit right alongside the water and enjoy a cocktail. David Byrd & Byrds of a Feather will be playing some jazz to set the atmosphere.

Although not yet open to the public, the Vita Brevis Club has an incredible speakeasy where we can mix and drink.
