Greetings everyone – 

I am incredibly pleased to announce the return of the most marquee of our marquee events. After almost 4 years, the legendary San Francisco Bond Club Christmas Lunch returns. 

This year the SFBC will be taking our talents to North Beach for an afternoon of cocktails, lunch, and merriment at The San Francisco Italian Athletic Club.  Please join us to celebrate the SFBC’s  95th Anniversary from a club so exclusive, you have to take a blood test to get in!  We’ll enjoy great Italian fare, beautiful views of Washington Square Park, and the fellowship of our fellow members. The bar will open around 12:00 with lunch served shortly after. As it the tradition, I am confident the festivities will continue well into the evening.

This event is free for members, but we do need an exact headcount for this event.

It is that time of the year to start thinking about our annual tradition of enjoying an afternoon Giants game in the comfort of the Franklin luxury box. This year it will be on August 21st at 12:45 PM where the Giants will take on the White Sox.

Please join us on Saturday, June 18th, from 10 AM to Noon for the SFBC’s Inaugural Pickleball Tournament at Bay Club Gateway at 370 Drumm Street in the San Francisco Financial District. For those who haven’t played, we shared some instructional videos via the email announcement and longtime SFBC member Jim “Jimbo” Oakes will be there to help with any questions. After hearing about Pickleball from many friends and relatives, this will be my first time playing. If you’d like to join us, we’ll pair off in teams to play a tournament on two courts as SFBC members arrive. Thanks to Jimbo for planning this event. Please join us on Thursday, October 14th, for bocce & wine at the San Francisco Wine Society at 408 Merchant Street in the San Francisco Financial District. For those who haven’t played, Bocce is played with eight large balls and one smaller target or object ball called a pallina. There are four balls per team and they are made of a different color or pattern to distinguish the balls of one team from those of the other team. If you’d like to play, we’ll pair off in teams to play a tournament as SFBC members arrive. If you’d just like to join us for wine, please feel free to do so. Thursday August 26 Happy Hour at the Ramp (855 Terry A Francois Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94158) hosted by former SFBC President Joseph Elefante, CAIA and Brown Advisory.

Get the feel of the authentic San Francisco waterfront. Originally a bait shop in the 50's, The Ramp, a well-kept locals secret, has developed into a popular destination for dining, drinking and dancing. A funky, fun, casual atmosphere prevails at our outdoor patio restaurant. Sit right alongside the water and enjoy a cocktail. David Byrd & Byrds of a Feather will be playing some jazz to set the atmosphere.

The Vita Brevis Club has invited us to Host a Happy Hour and see the newest club in the City. Although not yet open to the public, the Vita Brevis Club has an incredible speakeasy where we can mix and drink.
